Andres Jurado: RHP/3B, (2025) Westhill, CT. 5-foot-9, 189-pound athletic strong frame. Above average at the plate, the right-handed hitter was ranked 3rd with an exit velocity of 85 mph. (66.0 mph bat speed average). (21.4 mph hand speed average). Begins in an athletic balanced stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a short stride. Has a loose level swing plane, explosive bat speed and high finish. During his round he produced tons of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Line drive pull side approach. Above average while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 65 mph; had soft hands, smooth footwork, and a quick exchange. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a high ¾ slot with a short quick arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Recorded a time of 9.12 in the 60-yard dash. Projectable on the mound, showed consistent arm speed with a long loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Balance is tall point with an in line shoulders in his delivery. Lands square with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 69-72 mph; has arm side control and sinking action. (Max spin 1999; Avg 1874). His changeup (64-68) showed arm side command and fading action. His slider (62-67) has late action and down in the zone command. (Max spin 1967; Avg 1692).
