Brayden Childree: SS/RHP, (2026) East Catholic, CT. 5-foot-5, 120-pound athletic slim frame. Raw in the box, Childree clocked an exit velocity of 80 mph. (66.6 mph bat speed average). (21.1 mph hand speed average). Starts in a wide open stance with a compact tight load, then uses a controlled small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, used a short an inside-out swing plane and high finish. He barreled up some balls with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Solid while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 70 mph; showed a clean exchange, smooth feet, and soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were average. Solid on the mound, showing some arm speed he used a high ¾ arm angle and a short loose arm action. Tall-and-fall stretch only type pitcher and shows easy effort. In line shoulders and a consistent balance point. Lands hard with upright finish. Threw his fastball 70-72 mph; shows sinking action and arm side command. (Max spin 1978; Avg 1888).

Scouting Report: 5-foot-5, 120-pounds, smaller, thin, athletic frame, with plenty of room for added weight gains. A right-handed hitter, a balanced set up, loose hands level path, back foot can be grounded longer, has movement with it. The approach is more line drive to the middle of the field, had an exit velocity of 75 mph. Defensively, prep steps are short and choppy, comes through the baseball. The arm action works from a natural 3/4 slot, clocked at 67 mph. Off the mound, works from the stretch position, loads on the back side, inline direction with an upward finish, needs to continue through the finish.. The arm action is clean, working from a 3/4 slot, the fastball was clocked at 70 mph, with some small arm side run.
