Brayden Dandelski: C/3B, (2026) Southington, CT. 5-foot-11, 195-pound solid athletic frame. Projectable during batting practice, Dandelski had a max exit velocity of 90 mph. (62.8 mph bat speed average). (18.4 mph hand speed average). Began in a wide balanced stance with a handsy load, then used a small stride. Bat speed was developing, showed an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. He barreled up lots of balls with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. While catching, he recorded a position velocity of 72 mph during throw downs; shows developing feet, a lengthy developing transfer, and developing soft hands. recorded pop times of 2.19-2.19. Calm setup. Had a high ¾ slot with decent accuracy to the bag. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.5.
Scouting Report: 5-foot-11, 195-pound, stronger, athletic frame, showing strength throughout. A right-handed hitter, lower half is even based, using a small controlled toe tap. Could get more out of the lower back half pushes at times. The swing is powerful a level to up path, stays in the middle of the field, showing pop from gap to gap, had an exit velocity of 92 mph. A quick runner, ran the thirty dash in 4.06. Defensively, worked out from behind the plate, had a pop time of 2.10-2.18, arm was clocked at 70 mph, working from a higher slot. The setup behind the plate is athletic, feet are quick, work all in one motion. The glove is soft and strong on the catch, caught well during the bullpen portion.
