Cael Loria: SS/2B, (2026) Xavier, CT. 5-foot-8, 150-pound athletic lean frame. Above average projectable during batting practice, Loria clocked an exit velocity of 89 mph. (69.6 mph bat speed average). (19.5 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic balanced stance with a smooth high load, then used a controlled toe tap stride. Bat speed is explosive, has a short swing plane and high finish. Found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Line drive up the middle approach. Above average advanced while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 80 mph; had a twitchy exchange, next level soft hands, and athletic smooth footwork. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a short quick arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. Recorded a time of 7.32 in the 60-yard dash. Super athletic, tons of projection.

Scouting Report: 5-foot-8, 150-pound, lean, athletic frame, wiry stronger, stronger than he looks, electric at times. Defensively, can defend at a high level, can play all 3 infield spots. The feet and hands work well together, super smooth on starts and turns from both sies of the bag. The arm has life to it, above average at 79 mph, plenty of carry, all throws right on the bag. At the plate simple approach, short swing, level path. Lower half could be grounded more. The exit velocity was clocked at 81 mph and ran a 7.21. Look for his game to take off at some point.
