Carson Dodder: SS/RHP, (2026) Fairfield Warde, CT. 5-foot-10, 160-pound. (69.3 mph bat speed average). (22.1 mph hand speed average). Starts in a balanced quiet stance with a compact load, then uses a small leg kick. Has quick bat speed, loose level swing plane and balanced finish. Solid in the infield, displayed a velocity of 73 mph; shows sure hands, consistent feet, and a natural exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Used a high ¾ slot and a quick arm action. Clocked a time of 7.55 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, showed consistent arm speed, he had a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows some effort. Changeup (64-67 mph). Sat with his fastball at 74-75 mph. Has slight running action. (Max spin 2055; Avg 1888). Gap to gap approach. Athletic while in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 69 mph; had a twitchy exchange, soft hands, and fluid footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a loose arm action and a ¾ slot. Projectable on the mound, showed quick arm speed, he had a loose arm action with a ¾ arm angle. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses easy effort. Has a strong balance point and even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 68-70 mph; had sinking action and arm side control. Had tilt and in the zone command on his 1/7 curveball 53-55 mph. His changeup 58-60 mph shows control low in the zone and fading action.
