6-foot, 175-pound, strong, durable athletic frame. Squared off shoulders, with a wider back, plus strength for his age and for a 2024. A right-handed hitting catcher, at the plate, starts even, wider spread out lower half. The hands are held above the shoulders with a tilted setup. For timing uses a very small pick up and put down. The swing is short to contact, level through the zone and finishes with two hands at shoulder height. The hands are back on foot strike, creating a line drive approach to the middle of the field. The exit velocity was clocked at 85 mph, took a solid round of batting practice. Defensively is advanced behind the plate, had a pop time of 1.98- 2.09, with all throws on the bag. The arm, works from a higher slot, with rhythm, clean and loose through release. The glove is strong on the catch, secures the pitch. Will need to continue on becoming more flexible with lower half movements. At third approach under control, soft glove, fielding out front. The arm was clocked at 69 mph. Moved well to glove side. Love the feel behind the plate, someone to get on this year.
