Scouting Report: 6-foot-3, 185-pounds, larger frame with room for added weight gains. A RHP, clean delivery, repeats it , with coil to leg raise. The arm action is longer, working from a higher slot. The fastball reached 85 mph, with more in there, projects out to throw with some velocity. Mixed in a slurve at 71 mph, with a spin rate at 2700. Good looking arm.
Connor Mandirola: 3B/RHP, (2026) Suffield, CT. 6-foot-2, 155-pound lean athletic frame. Raw projectable during batting practice, Mandirola had an exit velocity of 85 mph. (62.7 mph bat speed average). (18.5 mph hand speed average). Begins in a closed tall stance with a tight compact load, then uses a controlled closed stride. Bat speed was explosive, displayed a short rotational swing plane and good extension on his finish. He found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contact. Pull side approach. Above average in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 72 mph; showed smooth feet, soft hands, and a clean exchange. Fielded the ball out front with developing movement laterally. From a ¾ slot, showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a short loose arm action. Recorded a 60 time of 8.66 at the event. Raw projectable on the mound, used a loose clean arm action with a ¾ arm angle while showing good arm speed. Feel tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses easy effort. Has a strong balance point and in line downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Threw his fastball 74-77 mph; showed arm side control and sinking action. (Max spin 1964; Avg 1905). His curveball (59-60) shows slurvey early action and glove side command. (Max spin 2301; Avg 2195). Had fading swing and miss action and arm side control on his changeup (68-69).
