A big, physical, right handed hitting catcher who showed big time power and tremendous arm strength. At the plate, he hits with a wide stance, dives in and attacks the baseball, the path to the ball is pretty flat and can get a little pull happy. His tee exit velocity was 95. His time down the line was 5.15. Behind the plate, he showed a strong arm with a velocity of 83 and throw down times 1.92-1.97. He did a good job blocking the ball and needs to soften up his hands when receiving. He has two legitimate tools and the more he plays and catches, the better he is going to get.
