6-foot-1, 170-pound, wiry, strong athletic frame, put together well, has some fast twitch actions to him. A right-handed pitcher with a powerful arm. The fastball was clocked at 81-87 mph, sitting mostly at the 85 mph range. The slider might be his best pitch, locates for a strike and can use it for a putaway pitch, clocked at 71-75 mph, showed to have proper spin and break to it. The arm works out of a ¾ slot, pitches downhill, locates to glove side, with action to arm side, fastball is heavy. The changeup at this point, isn't used much, will be a work in progress, with the arm action being clean should not take long to comfortable with it. The delivery can come apart at times, wants to pull and tuck early, when is inline and on time, everything comes together, baseball explodes out of his hand. Showed to be super aggressive establishing the fastball and coming after hitters. Big time follow, arm is strong and durable, is one of the better arms in the 2018 class.

As a right-handed pitcher, hands start high and stay high with leg raise, he has some coil to the leg raise. The arm slot is high-¾, with a short arm swing. Pitches downhill, ball has some life and action to it when it gets to the plate. The fastball was 79-81, threw strikes with it. The breaking pitch is more of a slurve, was thrown at 64-65, has some tilt and shape is good. Changeup is a work in progress, has some feel, with reps and practice should be usable. Times to the plate were 1.4-1.5. In the field, he showed good prep steps and attacked the ball, kept feet moving well through ball. The arm path is short was 77 across the diamond. At the plate, he hits from the right side, the stance is slightly wider, is even and balanced. Bat is right off his shoulder, path is good, level through zone with one-handed finish. Needs to get front foot down sooner for timing purposes. The tee exit velocity was 80 and ran 4.83 down the line. Definite arm for me off the mound, it’s still early, but is very aggressive and ball has some life to it.
