(58.7 mph bat speed average). (19.1 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced stance with a tight load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed was average, had a simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels with loud contact. Pull side approach. Solid from the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 55 mph; had a natural exchange, sure hands, and developing footwork. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were raw. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a high ¾ slot with a longer arm action. Clocked a 60 time of 8.67 at the event. Raw on the mound, showed developing arm speed with a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action. Stretch only type pitcher who shows easy effort. Showed low balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Sat with his fastball at 57-60 mph; has gradual action and both sides of the plate command. (Max spin 1601; Avg 1507). Has early action and glove side command on his curveball (48-51). (Max spin 1171; Avg 1103).
