Jack Fischer: SS/RHP, (2027) Glastonbury High School, CT. 5-foot-7, 137-pound slim athletic build. Projectable at the plate, Fischer had an exit velocity of 82 mph. (65.1 mph bat speed average). (20.1 mph hand speed average). Starts in a wide balanced stance with a handsy load, then uses a short stride. Bat speed is above average, uses a short upward swing plane and high finish. Was able to create some loud contact and found multiple barrels. Line drive approach. Above average projectable while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 78 mph; had a quick twitchy exchange, athletic smooth footwork, and soft hands. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bases, used a ¾ slot and a long loose arm action. During the event, clocked a 60 time of 7.5. Projectable on the mound, had a ¾ arm angle and a long loose arm action with quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher who uses easy effort. Displays in line downhill shoulders with an strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. Slider (64-66 mph). Threw his fastball 72-73 mph; had arm side control and sinking action. (Max spin 2307; Avg 2205). His 1/7 curveball (64-65) showed slurvey action and glove side control. (Max spin 2403; Avg 2183).
