3/7/17 5-foot-10, 150-pound, average athletic frame. The shoulders are rounded off, arms are long, has plenty of room to fill out and weight on. A right-handed hitting first baseman, the ability to swing the bat is his best tool. The stance is shorter, feet are inline and hands are set slightly below shoulder height. The lower half is under control, for timing uses a simple straight stride, hands have some separation with them from the body. The swing path is level to up, barrel stays in the zone for a good amount of time rolls his hands late, gets through the baseball. The barrel shows to have whip and life out front, finishes the swing with one hand above front shoulder. The approach was from gap to gap, showed the ability to hit the pitcher where it was pitched. The tee exit velocity was 78 mph, with a ton more in there. Defensively, worked out at first base, gets off the bag well, feet work well around the bag. Showed soft hands when receiving throws and foot work was proper. The hands are soft, with an easy transfer to throwing arm. The arm is long and clean on the backside, arm works out of a natural ¾ slot, clocked at 76 mph, plenty of strength across the diamond. Strength is a must, will aid in the development. Pitches as well, arm is super clean off the bump, with action. Good looking prospect. Sixty-Yard Dash: 8.31 Exit Velocity: 78 mph Arm Velocity: 76 mph
