Showed extremely well at the outing. Fastball has true left-handed action to it, getting up to 82. The breaking ball is downright filthy, comes out of the same plane as his fastball and shelves as it gets to the hitter. It is as good as Ive seen out of a younger arm in a while. The changeup is a work in progress. The delivery is more in-line this time as opposed to the last time I saw him. His front arm direction and feet are becoming more linear leading to his stuff improving. Still spins off a bit , but its becoming cleaner. The frame is still frail and could use weight, big left-handed prospect for me. If you believe in paying for out pitches, this dude has a serious out pitch.

At 6-foot-2, 155 pounds, the frame is long and thin, plenty of room to add weight. This left-handed pitcher showed well, attacked and pounded the strike zone with three pitches. The arm works, its short and quick on the backside. The motion has an easy leg raise, leans over a bit in balanced position, the stride is short. Once he longs out the stride velocity should jump and direction should get better. The fastball was 77-80, was able to throw it to both sides of the plate. The breaking pitch was good, had tight spin, was 67-69, good down action to it. Threw a split change at 70-71. The motion needs some cleaning up, but the arm works and body projects.
