Began in a balanced stance with a quick load, then used a big leg kick. Has quick explosive bat speed, short uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with tons of loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Advanced while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 71 mph; showed next level consistent hands, athletic in control feet, and a clean natural exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. While catching, he made throws to second at velocities up to 69 mph; has consistent feet, a quick clean transfer, and next level hands. had a pop time of 2.03-2.16. Some flexibility and athletic calm setup. Using a short very quick arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the bag from athletic slot. During the event, recorded a 60 time of 7.28.
