5-foot-11, 160-pound, average athletic build, the shoulders are sloped, neck is long, has plenty of room to fill out and add mass. A left-handed hitting first baseman, top tool is his ability to swing the bat. The stance is wider, even based, hands are set slightly lower. The path to the baseball is extremely short, no wasted movement, keeps hands inside the baseball, and gets through it and finishes the swing off at shoulder height with two hands. The approach is more to the pull side, made hard solid contact, squaring the baseball up one after another. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 80 mph, with a ton more in there. Defensively, showed solid actions and feel around the bag at first base. The feet are clean and quick, hands are soft, clean gather into the transfer. The transfer is fluid, catches and throws all in one motion. The arm action is short and throws from a lower slot, more of flip at times. The arm was clocked at 69 mph. The double play feeds were smooth and on time, feet moved throughout. Shows the ability to swing the bat, good follow.
