5-foot-11, 160-pound lean athletic frame. Above average during batting practice, Genao displayed an exit velocity of 91 mph, 2nd Best EV of the day. Starts in an athletic balanced stance with a smooth load,then uses a controlled stride. Has electric bat speed, short flat swing plane and high finish. He found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Line drive approach. Projectable in the infield, his position velocity was registered at 81 mph; had a twitchy exchange, athletic footwork, and sure hands. Movements laterally were twitchy and he fields the ball out front. Using a short arm action, showed consistent accuracy to the bag from a high ¾ slot. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.34.

5-foot-10, 142-pound, thin, wiry strong, athletic frame. Rounded shoulders, showing good strength for his size and age. A right-handed hitting left side infielder. At the plate, feet are even, loose relaxed hands at the shoulders. The lower half is under control, simple pick up and put down. The swing is level through the zone, hands work free and easy, minimal effort. The approach is middle to pull side, had a tee exit velocity of 74 mph, with a ton more in there. Runs above average for his age, ran an easy 7.09 sixty-yard dash. Defensively, threw 76 mph across the diamond, worked out both at shortstop and third base. The prep steps are under control, fields out front, working low to the ground, feet move throughout, with clean steps. The arm action is whippy, working from a 3/4 slot. All double play starts and feeds had rhythm and tempo to them. Look for the arm to jump, will have enough strength to stick on left side. Strength and a must, look for him to be one of the better players in the class 2023.
