5-foot-9, 160-pounds, strong athletic frame, hands and wrists have strength to them. Well proportioned athlete, still has room to fill out. Committed to FDU, a left-handed hitter who can really swing the bat. The stance is loose has rhythm to it, front foot is open slightly, keeps his head in center of his body throughout. The swing is level to up, creates backspin and length, the approach is gap to gap with above average power to the pull side. Took two solid rounds of batting practice, peppering the baseball. Defensively, prep steps are good, gets around the baseball, keeping his feet moving throughout. The hands are soft, works from the ground up, transfer is clean, arm action is smooth with above average carry across the diamond. The arm was clocked at 80 mph, double play feeds are smooth with rhythm, slow roller play was made with ease. Projects for me as a power hitting third baseman, look for big things from this one.

5-foot-7, 155-pound, wiry strong athletic frame, small in size but has strength to him, hands and wrists are strong. The shoulders are sloped, will be put together well when it's all done. A left-handed hitter, who has some serious pop in his bat. The stance is even, balanced and sits just so slightly in it. The hands are loose at shoulder height, have some movement in his load and the lower half is under control. For timing has a smooth small leg kick, gains some ground with stride. The swing path is level to up, a classic left-handed swing. The tee exit velocity was 84 mph, drove the ball to both gaps with ease. Time down the line was 4.54, had good in game swings collecting a couple of hits. Defensively, has made a switch from catcher to the middle infield. The prep steps and footwork/bounce getting to the baseball are good, is relaxed and keeps his feet moving throughout. The transfer is quick from the field to throw, arm was clocked at 80 mph, with life and carry across the diamond. Worked low to high on the backhand and made the slow roller play, with good footwork and made throw on the run look smooth. Good looking young hitter, has the ability to play both sides of the bag, maybe better suited as a power hitting second baseman, and can go behind the plate as a backup, the swing and versatility of playing multiple positions is a huge tool.
