Zachary Ferrara: OF/RHP, (2026) Xavier, CT. 6-foot-1, 160-pound lean athletic frame. Above average projectable in the box, the left-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 83 mph. (66.4 mph bat speed average). (19.6 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic balanced stance with a rhythmic load, then used a controlled toe tap stride. Bat speed was above average, had a loose upward swing plane and high finish. Found multiple barrels with a lot of loud contacts. Pull side line drive approach. Above average recorded an outfield position velocity of 78 mph; had athletic quick footwork, soft hands, and a twitchy exchange. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Showed a loose long arm action and a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. Projectable on the mound, used a long loose arm action with a high ¾ arm angle while showing quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher and uses easy effort. Tall balance point with downhill in line shoulders. Lands soft with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 78-80 mph; has arm side control and sinking action. (Max spin 1881; Avg 1798). Has fading swing and miss action and arm side control on his changeup (75-77). Throws a 2/8 slider (70-73) that shows late hard action and glove side control. (Max spin 2272; Avg 2151). Lots of projection off the mound.
