(66.8 mph bat speed average). (21.4 mph hand speed average). Starts in a wide open stance with a smooth controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed was quick, showed a loose swing plane and high finish. He found multiple barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Above average in the infield, displayed a velocity of 68 mph; had a clean exchange, soft hands, and smooth footwork. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front. Used a short quick arm action with a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Recorded a time of 7.54 in the 60-yard dash. Projectable on the mound, showed quick arm speed, he had a high ¾ arm angle with a loose arm action. Tall-and-fall type pitcher who uses easy effort. Showed strong balance point and in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 74-78 mph; has sinking action and arm side control. (Max spin 1973; Avg 1836). Has arm side control and fading action on his changeup (69-70). His 10/4 slider (70-73) shows late hard action and glove side control. (Max spin 2014; Avg 1919).
