The skill set behind the dish is solid, throwing 76 mph down to second base with a pop time of 1.97. The transfer is clean and the feet are good. The receiving needs to continue to soften. The bat has an exit velocity of 90 mph. He showed an athletic setup with loose hands to the baseball.
Scouting Report: 5-foot-8, 148-pounds, smaller, thin, shows to have some wiry strength. A switch hitter, swings it well from both sides of the plate. The swings are short and crisp, simple, balanced approach. Spraying line drives from field to field. The exit velocity was clocked at 90 mph from the right side and 87 mph from the left side. Ran a 7.06 sixty-yard dash, good leges for a catcher. Athletic behind the dish, bounce in his step during transfer. The arm action is short and has whippy action to it, clocked at 77 mph and had a pop time of 2.09-2.12. Tons of ability, lot to like.
