Justin Minaya: OF/RHP, (2026) Amity Regional High School, CT. 5-foot-9, 152-pound lean athletic build. Above average at the plate, Minaya was ranked 3rd with an exit velocity of 90 mph. (69.9 mph bat speed average). (22.9 mph hand speed average). Started in an athletic balanced stance with a smooth rhythmic load, then used a controlled toe tap stride. Has electric bat speed, short flat swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with tons of loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Above average in the outfield, his best throws to the infield topped out at 82 mph; had soft hands, athletic quick footwork, and a twitchy exchange. Fields the ball out front, movements laterally were athletic. Consistent accuracy to the bag, used a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. The athletic recruit showcased his speed with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.69. Projectable on the mound, showed a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action with quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall type pitcher and shows easy effort. In line downhill shoulders and a strong balance point. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Threw his fastball 80-82 mph; has a both sides of the plate control that shows hard movement. (Max spin 1954; Avg 1852). Has a 1/7 curveball (69-70) that showed glove side command and slurvey late action. (Max spin 2157; Avg 2098).
