Body: 5-foot-10, 160-pounds, average athletic frame, room for added weight gains, has some twitchiness to him.
Delivery: The delivery is uptempo, builds momentum down the mound, squares up on release of the baseball.
Arm Action: The arm action is short and quick, working from a ¾ slot.
FB: The fastball reached 85 mph, with life and action to it.
CB: The breaking ball is a legit pitch, can spin it at any time, clocked at 73 mph.
CH: Proper fade and action to changeup at 70-73 mph.
ATH: Moves well, athletic, holds runners, can field his position.
Matthew Chirumbolo: RHP, (2025) Lewis S. Mills High School, CT. 5-foot-10, 160-pound athletic strong frame. Projectable on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a short loose arm action while showing quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher who uses some effort. Showed athletic strong balance point and in line downhill shoulders. Lands square with an athletic balanced finish. Threw his fastball 81-83 mph; showed arm side control and sinking action with heavy movement. (Max spin 1884; Avg 1826). Has slurvey action and glove side control on his 1/7 curveball (66-69). (Max spin 1926; Avg 1831). His changeup (67-69) showed fading swing and miss action and arm side command. Showed a quick arm, pounded the zone with all three pitches.
