Spencer Makarewicz: OF/RHP, (2026) New Fairfield High School, CT. 5-foot-11, 175-pound athletic strong frame. Above average projectable during batting practice, Makarewicz displayed an exit velocity of 98 mph, Ranks #1 with EV at the event. (72.8 mph bat speed average). (23.6 mph hand speed average). Starts in an athletic balanced stance with a high rhythmic load, then uses a short controlled stride. Bat speed is explosive, displays a loose upward swing plane and high good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with tons of loud contacts. Pull side approach. Above average from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 86 mph; had a clean exchange, soft hands, and athletic smooth footwork. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a high ¾ slot with a loose arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. Established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.87. Raw projectable on the mound, showed a loose arm action and a high ¾ arm angle with quick arm speed. Tall-and-fall up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Tall balance point with in line shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 80-82 mph; had sinking action and control down in the zone with hard heavy movement. (Max spin 1910; Avg 1773). His changeup (73-74) shows arm side control and fading action. Threw a 2/8 slider (70-71) with swing and miss action and glove side command. (Max spin 2214; Avg 2154).
