2/22/18 - 6’2/190, Junior, RHP- Brought some electricity to Springs Brooks Stadium in his five inning start. After an effectively wild first inning, which saw him strikeout the side with a live fastball ranging from 92-96 mph and a swing and miss slider, Bilous settled down and found the zone more efficiently the remainder of the game. The 11 pitch second inning was his best, locating the fastball down in the zone and working both sides of the plate.  In the third inning, he touched 97 with one fastball, while sitting 94-96. Bilous is athletic with a loose arm swing and some effort at release. His fastball plays plus with late, heavy sink. The slider also plays plus. It’s an out pitch ranging from 84-87 with late action and power. He showed fastball arm speed on the change-up at 84 mph, but didn’t throw many. For the game Bilous struck out nine with three walks and began his season in impressive fashion. If he can tighten up his control and turn it into consistent command, Bilous showed all the qualities of a top two round draft pick
