6-foot, 205-pound strong solid build. Solid projectable during batting practice, Perry's best exit velocity was 85 mph. Began in an athletic crouched stance with a quick load, then used a small controlled stride. Has an upward swing plane, electric bat speed and high finish. He produced a lot of loud contact and found multiple barrels. Gap to gap approach. Solid in the infield, his best throw was registered at 83 mph; has consistent feet, sure hands, and a quick exchange. Above average from the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 86 mph; has consistent hands, smooth rhythmic feet, and a clean natural exchange. Movements laterally were athletic and he fields the ball out front. Showed consistent accuracy to the base with a high ¾ slot and a short arm action. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.73. Projectable on the mound, using a long arm action he showed quick arm speed from a ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who uses easy effort. Showed athletic balance point with even shoulders. Lands square with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 81-82 mph; showed running action and control in the zone with heavy movement. Has a tight curveball (71-74) that shows down in the zone command and slurvey action. Showed in the zone control and fading action on his sharp changeup (75-77).
