Had a short arm action and a ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the bag. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.81. Capable on the mound, used a ¾ arm angle and a short arm action while showing good arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher who shows easy effort. In his delivery his balance point is tall with in line shoulders. Lands soft with recoil finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 71-73 mph with a max of 74 mph; had arm side control and running action with tight movement. (Max spin 2063; Avg 1978). Had sweeping swing and miss action and consistent low in the zone control on his sharp curveball (61-64). (Max spin 1974; Avg 1966).
