7/6/16- Committed to the University of North Florida.

6/5/16- Uncommitted, the athletic 6-foot-3 205-pound corner infielder was very intriguing this weekend. At the plate he could get long at times, but when everything started on time the bat path very direct and level, the hands were quick, and the lower half generated power. Martinez moves well which he shows both legging out a double and baserunning. Very interesting uncommitted prospect with a lot of upside.

3/22/16 - 6-foot-3, 205 pound infielder with a tall lean projectable body with long legs and arms. Quick bat with some present strength and leverage. More power to come. Good bat path with some lift in swing. Keeps barrel in the zone. Stays inside ball. Good balance in finish. Fair infield actions with restricted arm action. Lacks arm strength and accuracy.  4.36 to 1B.
