Meer continues to impress offensively. He is a solid defender in the infield, but the bat has a chance to impact a lineup at the next level. The switch hitter has a feel for the barrel with gap to gap power and plenty of room to grow.The left side is slightly more advanced, but overall the offensive profile is above average and should be a quality pickup soon for a program looking for a versatile, above average bat. Exit velocity at 80 mph.
Athletic and average frame at 5 foot 10- 160 pounds. Short arm action with some carry and accuracy on throws across the infield and average arm strength with 79 mph velocity. Soft hands with fluid footwork and clean exchange and plays through the ball on ground balls. Balance setup at the plate with smooth load and short leg kick from both sides of the plate. Above average bat speed from the right side with 90 mph side and average from the left side with 79 mph exit velocity. Line drive hitter from both sides with level bat paths and some pull side power from right side.
