Starts in an athletic stance with a quick load, then uses a short stride to the ball. Bat speed is above average. Uses a short swing plane and high finish. Found multiple barrels during bp. Gap to gap approach. Solid in the infield, recorded a position velocity of 71 mph; showed soft hands and athletic feet. Solid from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 75 mph. Laterally, movements were athletic and fielded the ball out front with momentum towards the target. Used a short arm action with a high ¾ slot on throws. A fast runner, Palomino ran a 6.74 60 time.

Decent accuracy to the bases, used a short arm action with a high ¾ slot. Performed well in the 60-yard dash, clocking a speedy time of 6.82.
