10/16/16- Tampa recruit. The 6-foot-2, 190 pound outfielder hits with a large leg kick trigger. He has quick hands through the zone creating good bat speed and when on time can hit line drives to all parts of the field. Although, at times he can land hard on his front foot that leads to some inconsistent swings. He is athletic, running a 6.77 60 yard dash, and projectable. Will be an interesting follow going forward.

7/15/16- Committed to the University of Tampa.
6/29/16- Committed to the University of Central Florida.
6/4/16- Uncommitted junior currently ranked No. 66 in the Florida 2017 class, No. 223 overall. Athletic, strong, projectable build standing at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds. Showed the ability to come in and go back on the ball well while playing centerfield. Tracks the ball. At the plate Wingo displayed extension and quick hands. Gets a good leg kick for timing and rhythm and shows good hand eye as he can square the ball up. Had a hard line drive into the left-center field gap for a triple and a line drive single up the middle during the game off of mid to high 80s pitching. Aggressive runner on the base paths with instincts.
5/21/16- Uncommitted junior who stands at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds with a long, lean, athletic, and rangy body with wiry strength. He has the kind of frame that will put on weight and muscle and still remain athletic and explosive He is ranked 66th in Florida and 223rd overall. He ran a 6.90 in the 60-yard dash but his jumps and long strides make him appear to be faster than that. He has a shorter, quick arm action from the outfield which stems from his recent transition from the infield. The arm speed and strength are there as he threw 86 mph from the outfield, he just needs to lengthen out his arm action and get more momentum into his throws. At the plate has great rhythm and quick, explosive hands that really make the ball jump off his bat. He drove a hard single up the middle off an 89 mph, showing off his bat speed and ability to square up quality pitching. Wingo might very well be the top uncommitted outfielder in Florida.
2/18/16- Uncommitted junior who stands at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds with a lean, athletic, projectable, and strong body. Quick-twitch player who bounces and shows live actions all over the field. At the plate he is relaxed, gets a separation for his load, and gets a nice hand trigger that gets him into a strong position to start his swing. Good bat speed, nice swing plane through the zone, and he is an above average runner.
01/18/16- 6-foot-2, 190-pounder with a lean and athletic build with strength. He was working on switch-hitting and showed line drive potential from both sides of the plate. From the left hand side, Wingo displayed a short, quick swing and laced several balls deep down the right field line. Loose hands with good hip rotation.
7/13/15: Uncommitted incoming junior. 6-foot-1 170 pounds with a lean, athletic, and projectable frame with strength. At the plate he has an open stance, gets a good separation for his load, and has a nice swing plane. He has good bat speed and the ball jumps off his bat. Switch hitter but I only saw him hit right handed. In the field he has decent hands and a strong arm across the diamond.
