9/23/18 - 6-foot-7, 270-pound right-handed pitcher, extra-large physical frame, long arms, imposing figure on the mound. Quick two-step delivery, uses length and extension well out of a high slot. Overpowered opposing batters with fastball, sat 89-91.
6/26/2018: 6-foot-7, 275 pounds. Big guy, thick frame. Starting pitcher with a high arm slot. Medium effort. Real compact, almost short arm delivery. Deceptive, hides the ball well so it appears to really jump out of the hand upon release. FB was straight, but played pretty well. CB was a tall 11/5 breaker with good arc to it. Didn’t see many CH’s. Control was iffy at times, as he hit two batters, but was effectively wild. Threw five innings of one hit ball, allowing no runs, no walks and striking out nine. Interesting prospect, was able to blow his FB by almost anybody. (Jake Stone)
