6-foot-3, 175-pound athletic frame. Solid during batting practice, Mcanally displayed an exit velocity of 96 mph, Top 2 velo of the day. Starts in a balanced athletic stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick. Bat speed is quick, shows a simple uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Solid while in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 80 mph; has consistent feet, a natural exchange, and sure hands. Fielded the ball out front with athletic movement laterally. Used a quick arm action with a high ¾ slot. Recorded a 60 time of 7.34 at the event. On the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a loose arm action while showing consistent arm speed.
