5-foot-8, 178-pound solid build. Solid in the box, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 86 mph. Starts in a balanced quiet stance with a quick load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is quick, uses a simple uphill swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels during his round. Gap to gap approach. Behind the plate, he recorded a position velocity of 70 mph during throw downs; had quick footwork, sure hands, and a clean transfer. had a pop time of 2.03-2.15. Calm setup with some flexibility. Showed a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot.
Positional Profile: C/3B - Uncommitted, The athleticism pops out as well as the confidence. Seems to be on the right trajectory behind the plate.
Body: 5-foot-8, 170-pounds. Athletic, twitchy frame. Slight build with a chance to bulk up.
Defense: 2.15-2.25 pop times. Quick feet and sure handed. Plays with enthusiasm and is fluid moving to dirt balls
Arm: RH. C - 69 mph. Mechanically sound. Short action and quick release with accurate throws to the bag.
Hit: Switch. Loose, athletic stance. Weight slightly back with hands cocked in the slot. Creates rhythm in the load with a rocker step back that allows him to clear the hips and get the barrel to pitches on both sides of the plate. Compact swing with line drive approach.
