Cape Cod: Was a high-profile recruit last year but struggled with a high walk rate this spring and summer, and we did not see his peak velocity at Harwich, where he sat at 88-91 with a heavy sinker. He has a pro build at 6-3, 215 pounds, and his long, loose arm swing works well despite a little wrap in the back, suggesting there's plenty more velocity in the tank — and we've seen him sit in the low 90s in the past. His breaking ball had less power this summer than in previous looks, coming in at 77-78 with average bite and three-quarters break, spinning in the 2500s-2600s. He also mixed in a promising changeup at 85 mph
