Athletic and lean frame at 5-foot-10, 150 pounds. Carry and accuracy on throws with soft hands and fluid footwork in the infield. Line drive hitter with a balanced setup at the plate and a short stride with a level bat path. As a RHP, he stays in line to home with his motion and throws from the ¾ arm slot. Sitting 83-84 mph with the fastball and 69-70 with the curveball with some depth. Has good arm speed on off speed and commands all pitches for strikes.
Stands a wiry 5-foot-10, 150 pounds. Ran a 7.51 60 yard dash. 2-way player that impressed with command and secondary stuff on the mound. Strike-thrower filled it up at 77-79. Big, tight CB at 64-66 that flashed plus at times. Good feet at SS, but can cut down time between field and throw. Across the infield at 81. Actions are clean and slightly above average. Showed good balance and a line drive approach at the plate. Could benefit from shortening up at times and loosening the hands up.
The 5-9 150 lb. rising junior settled in after a shaky first inning giving up no runs and no hits in his final four innings. Compact windup with movement on a straight line to the plate. Fastball got better running between 75-79 which he offset with a 60-61 mph curveball that has late life and depth keeping it off barrels.
