Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; upright bat position. Drops hands on the way back with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an aggressive lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 95 MPH via Trackman. swing repeats with plus bat speed and pop to the gaps .
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; utilizing a one knee approach while staying low during receiving. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Short take back from a high 3/4 arm slot. 2.07-2.13 pop times. C - 74 MPH. quick catch and release
Brunetti joined the Canadian Selects as a prospect from New York and quickly impressed his Northern teammates with a well-rounded game. Strong, sturdy frame at 5-foot-11, 205-pounds and he’s athletic for his size. Strong hands through the zone with a quick bat and good path that allows him to drive balls to all fields. Quick transfer and catch/throw behind the plate that plays in-game.
