8/18/17 - 5-foot-10, 185-pound athletic catcher ran a 7.2 60 yard dash. The right handed hitter has a very minimal to no load, he still creates some rhythm and shows loose wrists and generates bat speed with some extension. As he continues to use a strong lower half, the loose hands and bat speed should generate some pull power. Defensively, the hands work well, he tends to let them get inside of his frame some, but as he continues to progress should be an above average receiver. He has a strong arm, topping out at 77 mph with a quick, clean transfer. The footwork is sound, but could be sped up some. His best pop time was 1.97. Overall there are tools both offensively and defensively to like and follow.
