8/28/15 - Smaller framed guy with some arm speed. Effort in delivery at a low 3/4 arm slot. Funky delivery with a hook in back but a tough arm angle against right handed hitters. Fast ball was 85-86 mph. Curve ball had some depth at 77-79 mph with 3/4 tilt. Change up was 79-80 mph with some fade. Throws a lot of strikes. Should be a good college arm.

3/5/15 - 5-foot-10, 155 pound under sized right hander with a lean smaller framed body. Low ¾ slot with some effort. Big take away with an upright finish. Fastball has life at 84-87 mph. Curve ball is a big sweeping slurve at 73-75 mph. Throws a lot of strikes. 3 1/3 inning, 6 hits, 3 BB, 2 K’s.

1/10/15 Scorpions tryout - Young looking kid with a thin, athletic frame. Arm works well and seems to repeat delivery. His fastball is 84-88 with occasional short tailing action. Shows good feel for sinking change. Flashed a late action curveball. Works fast and throws strikes. Has lots of upside.  Change is best pitch now. His velocity has a chance to improve as he fills out and gets stronger.
