6/22/16- The 5-foot-11 180-pounder was very solid defensively, both receiving and blocking well in the game. Markowitz also showed a consistent 2.14 pop time both in the workout and in the game. At the plate got a little long and pulled off the ball at times, but when he worked to the middle of the field he was more direct to the ball producing line drives to center field.

6/27/15 - Uncommitted incoming junior. 5-foot-10 170 pounds with lean and athletic body with some strength. Behind the plate his transfer could be faster on his throw downs but he has a quick release and a solid arm. 2.1 pop time. At the plate he has a flat swing and hits line drives to all fields.
