6/14/24
Uncommitted. Solid outing for Harmon on Friday morning, had great command over his curveball and slider. Got tons of whiffs, and called strikes on back-door looks on LHH and break-away from RHH. Had hitters off-balanced nearly all game. Didn’t allow a loud barrel all morning, he did run into some trouble with bases loaded but managed to get out of it. FB (T89, 88-86) had good life early with tilt, and inward vertical break. CV (75-74) great feel for early in counts, confident feel for spin, very tight. SL (72-70) had a great sweep movement away from righties and had life down in the zone. Good potential going into the summer and his junior year.
2/24/24
Lean and athletic 6-1 175lb frame with plenty of room for more. Mid-depth AA to a ¾ slot with rhythm and flexibility throughout delivery. Natural extension and spinal mobility, very clean mechanics. Intriguing, heavier mix all around. FB sat 88-89 (1850) and touched 90 with late arm side life. SPL is s/m pitch at 80-83 (1200), more SPL-CH-esque w/ more fading action than typical SPL, still shows good depth and plays well off FB. Flashed a SL as well at 70-72 with slurve-like movement. A lot to like, big time arm with real upside.
