LP Challenge
UGA commit. Spikes was an absolute offensive terror this weekend banging multiple extra base hits around the yard in both gaps at 94+ EVs and was just finding the barrel all weekend even on outs. He has natural loft in the swing and his bat path stays through the zone for a long period; there is a definite opportunity for Spikes to make a big offensive impact at the next level. He is a quality defender at third, where range will probably move him too, and he compliments that with strong arm across the diamond. On the mound it was 86-89 and he flashed a couple of breakers in the 70s.
Sneaky good athlete and future prospect. Left-handed stroke with some bat-speed and a body to project on. Actions are a little big defensively at SS, but he makes the plays he is supposed and even the ones is not suppose too.
