Uncommitted. The left handed 2 hole for the Knights took some of the best swings of the day. It is smooth and effortless from the left side, and he has great plate discipline at the top of the order. He has quick hands with a compact swing that leads to consistent line drives. He does a great job getting the barrel out in from of pitches in the inner half, and has some sneaky pop to the gaps.
3/02/23
Uncommitted. Wiry 5-10, 135-pound frame with strength in his lower half, plenty of more room to add on as he matures. Stands strong in the box with weight evenly distributed, easy load as he shifts weight into his back leg with good stretch of the hands as he strides. Really like how he uses his lower half in the swing, athletic and strong there and is sure to get better as he gets older and stronger. Swing is short and compact to the baseball as his hands stay close to the body through contact. Table setter for his team, had a big triple to get some momentum back for River Ridge after falling behind and then had a clutch double to bring his team back eve closer in game in his next AB. Could be a force over the next few years as he matures.
