Standing 6-foot-1 185 pounds, Lanum is plenty filled out with a broad wide frame but the long limbs and build project him to get even bigger and stronger. The arm talent is above average and he’s extremely athletic but a little raw. If he finds the breaking ball and a repeatable delivery he could add velocity quickly along with some consistency. He topped out at 87 mph on the mound with an average breaking ball in the mid 60s. At the plate the athleticism shows as he has a controlled load with fast hands allowing him to stay back and see the ball into his hitting zone.
