Bell saw time as a freshman last season, and continues to lead the way behind the plate for the Trojans. We have seen Bell over the summer, and he is one of the top defensive catchers we have seen this year. He shuts the run game down, and covers balls up with ease. He is quick and athletic behind the dish, and does a great job managing the pitchers. He is a tough out at the plate, with a simple line drive approach. With added size and strength Bell will continue to develop and be a catcher to follow into the summer and for his junior year.
