Waggoner is a wiry athletic 5-foot-10 164-pound outfielder from North Gwinnett high school. He shows above an above average run tool, posting a days best 6.71 60 time. Just as you would imagine from a good athlete, Waggoner shows the ability to play both the infield and outfield. Though he looks more comfortable in the outfield, he also has workable actions on the infield dirt. At the plate Waggoner uses a leg lift for timing in his straight away stance. He shows the ability to get his hands inside the baseball and make solid line drive contact. He has sneaky pop for a wiry kid, posting an 88 mph exit velocity off of the tee. Waggoner profiles well as a versatile athlete with solid bat to ball skills and a chance to grow into more power as he gets stronger.
