5-foot-11, 178-pound switch-hitting middle infielder, athletic with strength throughout frame. Offensively, balanced setup, toe-tap stride, hands cock on load, remains balanced throughout, . Gap-to gap type hitter, can drive the ball from both sides of the plate with a smooth swing and quick hands, barrel path has uphill tendency, gets into his lower half better from the right-side resulting in more power, 87 exit velocity off a tee. Ran a 7.19 laser-timed 60. Defensively, short, quick arm action from a ¾ slot, accurate on throws. Moves well, fields position freely with soft hands, quick footwork and transfers, 80 across the infield.
5/3/18 - Moved well defensively, working through the ball well with good feet and really trusting his glovehand on one-hand and slow roller plays. Only saw the 5-foot-10, 180-pound switch-hitter from the left side, where he has a quiet set-up in the box, while his swing has some length created by a barrel wrap and dropping his hands in his load. Did not get a line time on this day.
