6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder, strong frame with the potential to add more. Ran a 7.28 laser-timed 60. Offensively, crouching, open setup, keeps hands high, short leg lift stride to a balanced position at contact. Barrel works with some incline, quick hand speed creates whip, ball comes off bat hot, takes a middle/pull approach, with a more elevated approach can be a real long ball threat, 91 mph exit velocity off a tee. Defensively, short arm action, uses a lower ¾ slot, kept throws around the target, 81 across the infield. Deliberate actions getting to the ball, prefers to get large frame in front of the ball.
Mimbs shows an excellent build at 6-foot-2, 180-pounds. Mimbs put of some of the best offensive measureless at the Deep South this year. His 90 mph exit velocity was impressive and it showed up in the batters box also. Mimbs has a nice easy stroke with good finish. He is straight away and direct with a strong ability to get on plane with the baseball. Defensively Mimbs plays a little upright, but his hands work and he shows an accurate arm. Mimbs has a strong corner profile at the next level with serious offensive upside to deliver on.
