Uncommitted. The kitchen sink was in full-effect from Ericson as he had the 5-pitch mix clicking on all cylinders. Ericson missed barrels with ease and kept hitters off-balance to cruise through 4.0 IP of 1-run ball while punching out 5. Sinker at 81-84 with the ability to paint the outer half to righties. Curveball at 72-76 displayed 12/6 movement and created depth. Showed an advanced for for the slider at 74-78 with tight spin and ability to manipulate. Innate confidence in the changeup at 76-79 with the ability to land R/R. Cutter played well off the fastball at 74-76. Present pitchability was on full display from the start. With the confidence to go to any pitch in any count and the ability to land in multiple quadrants of the plate. Uncommitted name to keep an eye on down the stretch for Cherokee.
