Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 145 pounds. When you get an extended look at Dyer, you realize quickly that this is a player you’d want to go into battle with. He grinds through at bats with a simple approach looking to hit the ball hard on a line where it’s pitched. Facing one of the most electric arms in the class above him, Sanders had no issues hanging with a power arsenal. The bat 2 ball skills are innate, and he’s consistently on time with all pitches. This is a testament to his competitiveness and determination, not just physical skill to hit. Dyer is a high IQ player who makes a formidable double play combo with his fellow underclassmen Sweat. These two players will be a cornerstone for this Wolverines team for years to come, and they are only at the tip of the iceberg as a team.
