Power: 94 max exit velocity, averaged 86.8 mph. 358' max distance.
Arm: RH. INF-86 mph. OF-90 mph. Strong over the top action.
Defense: Athletic mover, good glove.
ATH: 6.61 runner in the 60. 1.70 and 3.80 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. 31.80 max vertical.
Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 140 pounds. Cracked the PBR 2025 National rankings. 2021 Junior Future Games alumni. A slender, medium frame that plays with electricity. Quick twitch athlete with A/AVG speed that plays well on the basepaths and in the two positions he primary plays, center and short. His speed was displayed on the basepaths in the game I watched him where he beat out a grounder the shortstop. Switch hitter with a quick, explosive swing and gets consistent barrels. A tought out with his contact skills, plate discipline, and speed. In 3 at-bats, Ford got on-base every time with a pair of singles and a walk.
Ford has quickly become one of the fastest rising prospects in the class. He is a twitchy athlete at 5-foot-10, 140-pounds. A switch-hitter, the swing is quick and explosive through the zone from both sides. Ford has great barrel control, using the entire field with a line drive approach. He flashed the ability to drive pull-side with power.
5-foot-3, 105-pound switch-hitting shortstop, still has plenty of growth and maturing to do. Defensively, arm works short to a high ¾ slot, 68 across the infield. Fields position athletically, smooth footwork as he approaches the ball, advanced glove hand for age, consistently fields the ball out front with clean exchanges. Offensively, similar setup from both sides of the plate, high hands drop and load back, long stride, average balance. From the right-side barrel works level, generating groundball to line drive contact, from the left-side gets more uphill, using the gaps, 6 mph exit velocity off a tee. Ran an 8.09 laser-timed 60.
